    Wore this Drindl to the Texas Renaissance Festival on Oktoberfest weekend and it was a hit. I received many compliments and the quality of the fabric and embroidery made it look authentic. I did take the time to iron out wrinkles and sharpen the pleats on the apron and dress to make it look a little better too. Overall I’d say the size chart here fit as expected. It was just a tiny bit loose in the torso but still flattering and comfortable. It is not “corseted” but the laces in the front help tighten things where you need them. I got the dress hemmed about 2 inches shorter (just a preference) and the neckline adjusted as well (I didn’t quite “fill out” the bust of the dress). The little white shirt that comes with the dress has elastic in the sleeves and while they weren’t tight on me, they definitely could be on some one with larger arms. Overall, VERY happy with my purchase! Will wear to many a German-fests

    This costume was true to size if not a tiny bit too tight but wouldn’t warrant going up a whole size. The quality is very nice. I also bought a cheap petticoat and it makes the outfit. Order early the prices are going up the closer Halloween gets. My husbands costume went up this week. Glad I bought it last week!
