This wine opener is very easy to use. Battery lasts long. It looks very nice just sitting on a counter and it elevates any struggle with opening wine bottles the traditional way.
I love this wine opener. This is my second wine opener I’ve purchased and this one easily took the place of my first one. It’s completely effortless to remove a cork. The pouring spout adds air to the wine which brings out great flavor of my preferred wines. The wine stopper is great too, I just wish it didn’t make any sound when pumping the air out. Other than that the entire set is awesome.

This is a really cool little doohickey. This would make a great gift. Works like a charm. I thoughtcrimes it was going to be smaller, but it was pretty large.

I just replaced for the second time a rechargeable opener and wanted one with batteries I can actually replace. The other 2 I just replaced with this one died after a year and a half of use. I hate not being able to just replace the batteries on those so I purchased this one because you can replace the batteries. The positives are: It looks really good (it actually matches my black stainless steel appliances); the batteries are replaceable!!
The big negative is that it is not nearly as powerful as the other ones I’ve had. I really hope I will not have to throw this one out after a year.
Update: I must apologize to the manufacturer. The opener felt really underpowered initially but after I replaced the batteries, it works just as well as the other ones I had before. I changed my rating to 5 stars.

This works really well. I’ve used it twice so far. It should be noted that mine did not come with instructions. I didn’t know how to use the wine preserver/sealer or the wine opener. I had to find the wine opener instructions online. I’ve guessed on the wine sealer, but I don’t think I’m using it right and I haven’t found instructions online.

I bought this to replace a rechargeable one. There was no reason to keep the opener plugged all the time and use electricity, as it will open many bottles with one charge. But when the charge is gone, I can’t use it until it is recharged. This is battery powered and works much better. When the charge gets low, I replace the batteries. It works fine with rechargeable AA batteries.

I have had 3 of the rechargeable openers and they all had the same problem, the batteries eventually will not take a charge and they are not replaceable. This time I went with this opener that you put your 4 AA batteries in it. I have had this until for 4 mos. now, it got us through the COVID-19 quarantine! Opened 3-5 bottles a week, still using the first 4 batteries. Works today like it did on the first bottle I opened. The foil cutter is simply the best one I have ever used. Period. It attaches to the unit as a stand. I can wholeheartedly recommend this unit.
It took me a couple of tries to get the hang of using this but now I love it! No more broken corks and no more sore hands. I think my favourite part is the little cutter that perfectly takes off the top of the foil. The opener makes an odd little noise as it works. It’s effective and the price is right.

The only reason this isn’t getting 5 stars is because you need good batteries (energizer for example) for it to work. We originally used dollar store (cheap) batteries and it didn’t work too well. It works perfectly with good batteries though!!
